Anna D’Aste

  • by

Artist in residence, Anna D’Aste, the owner of the Little Swamp Studio is living her dream. Over thirty years of experience playing in clay and twenty-plus years of teaching others how to do the same. She learned her craft in Europe and when she returned to the U.S., knew she wanted to continue creating and selling her sculptures. “Not getting rich, but making a living doing what you love, what gets you out of bed every day, that’s living your dream.”  Anna specializes in clay, wheel-spun pottery, and other sculptures. She offers individual classes on wheel pottery and the Japanese “Raku” pottery technique. From mosaics and pots to teacups and yard art, her comfortable garden studio offers impressive bamboo landscaping and a kiln for “firing” your new creation. Email her at littleswampvoa53@gmail.com or contact her through Facebook to take classes, hire her kiln, or to purchase her artistic pottery creations.

You can see samples of her work and studio on Facebook, or the Village of the Arts website.
